This 3L subtype wants to be sure that they are correct. This manifests as an aggressive person who continuously prods for the truth. Adopts an intellectual identity so others do not question them too intently. Quick to shoot critical people down so they do not have to engage in a battle of wit with them. Worries about the accuracy of their own information and can edit and re-edit their work numerous times before feeling that it is sufficient. Dislikes assumptions in logic and wants to see how things truly work beneath the surface. “Show your work”. Attacks those who are incorrect to take attention away from themselves and own potential logical shortcomings.
