Trivial Insecure Emotion
This subtype is the most hidden of the 3Es as there is an extreme sensitivity to being open with their own emotions in the slightest. This subtype comes off as shy, quiet, shut off, and afraid of being seen by others. There is a stoic quality with this 3E that can cause them to appear 4E but under the cool exterior is a frantic need to shut down any negative or confusing emotions. On the flip side, emotions that are too positive are also seen as a threat to this subtype because they can lead to the unknown part of the self that this 3E trivializes. Suppressed emotions tend to come out in explosive anger which further embarrasses this subtype.
